Terms and Conditions for Deep Cleaning Acton Services
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of professional deep cleaning services offered under the name Deep Cleaning Acton. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. They are intended to create a fair and transparent agreement between you, the customer, and us, the service provider. Please read them carefully before confirming any appointment.
Throughout this document, references to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the cleaning company providing the service, and references to “you” or “your” mean the customer who requests the service. These terms apply to all forms of deep cleaning in Acton, whether for residential or commercial premises, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A booking with us is considered an acceptance of these terms. If any part of the agreement is unclear, it is your responsibility to ask for clarification before the service begins. We may update these terms from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or commercial changes. The version in force at the time of booking will apply to your service.
1. Booking Process
Bookings for Acton deep cleaning services may be made through an approved enquiry or reservation process. When you request a service, you must provide accurate information about the property, the type of cleaning required, the size of the premises, access conditions, and any special instructions that may affect the work. Any quotation given is based on the details supplied at the time of enquiry.
We may provide an estimated price, a fixed price, or an hourly rate depending on the nature of the task. An estimate is not a final quotation unless expressly stated. If the actual conditions differ materially from the information originally provided, we reserve the right to revise the price, adjust the scope of work, or decline to proceed if the service cannot be delivered safely or effectively as planned.
Bookings are only confirmed once we have accepted the request and, where required, received a deposit or prepayment. Confirmation may be issued by email, message, or other written method. You are responsible for reviewing the booking details carefully, including the date, time, address, and service specification. Any errors must be reported promptly so that corrections can be made before the appointment.
2. Access, Preparation, and Customer Responsibilities
You must ensure that the property is accessible at the scheduled time and that we have reasonable access to the rooms, fixtures, and surfaces to be cleaned. If parking, entry codes, concierge approval, or permits are needed, you must arrange these in advance unless we have expressly agreed otherwise. Delays caused by lack of access may be charged as waiting time or treated as a late cancellation.
You are also responsible for removing items of special value, confidential documents, fragile possessions, and any objects you do not want handled during the clean. While our team will take reasonable care, deep cleaning often involves intensive work around fittings, appliances, and high-traffic areas. We cannot be responsible for items left unsecured in the work area where no specific warning has been given.
3. Payments
All prices are stated in pounds sterling unless otherwise agreed. Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking and may include full prepayment, a deposit, or payment on completion. If a deposit is required, the booking may remain provisional until cleared funds are received. Any outstanding balance must be paid in full by the due date specified on the invoice or booking confirmation.
We accept payment by the methods made available at the time of booking. If a payment is declined, reversed, or remains outstanding, we may suspend or cancel the service and recover any associated costs. Late payments may incur reasonable administration charges and, where permitted by law, interest on overdue sums. The customer remains responsible for the full agreed fee even if payment is delayed by a third party.
Any additional work requested during the visit must be agreed before it is carried out and may incur an extra charge. This includes, for example, extra rooms, heavily soiled areas, unexpected waste removal requirements, or services outside the agreed scope of deep cleaning services Acton. We will always aim to explain any change in cost before proceeding, although urgent circumstances may require a prompt decision on site.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Missed Appointments
You may cancel or reschedule a booking by giving us notice in accordance with the cancellation period stated in your confirmation. If sufficient notice is provided, any deposit may be transferred to a new date or refunded, depending on the circumstances and the policy communicated at booking. If notice is not provided within the required period, we may retain all or part of the deposit to cover lost time and administration.
If you cancel after the team has already arrived, or if access is not provided, the full service charge or a call-out fee may be payable. We may also treat an appointment as missed if the property cannot be accessed, the contact person is unavailable, or the job cannot proceed due to conditions outside our control. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in refusal of future bookings.
Where we need to cancel or reschedule due to illness, staff shortage, unsafe conditions, equipment failure, or other reasonable cause, we will endeavour to give you notice as soon as practicable and offer an alternative time. Our liability in such cases is limited to the refund of any prepaid amounts for the affected service, unless otherwise required by law. We do not accept responsibility for any indirect loss caused by a rescheduled visit.
5. Liability and Limitations
We will perform all services with reasonable care and skill. However, deep cleaning may reveal pre-existing wear, hidden defects, staining, old damage, or surface degradation that cannot be repaired by cleaning alone. We are not responsible for deterioration that occurs because of age, poor maintenance, unsuitable materials, or pre-existing conditions not disclosed before the job began.
Although our team will act carefully, some surfaces and materials may be delicate, and certain cleaning processes can carry unavoidable risk. You should inform us of any special surfaces, coatings, fabrics, finishes, or equipment that require unusual care. Where you fail to disclose relevant information, we cannot accept liability for damage that could reasonably have been avoided if we had been properly informed.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from any booking, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be limited to the amount paid or payable for the relevant service, except where a different limit is required by statute.
We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from the provision or non-provision of the service. This applies whether the claim relates to deep cleaning Acton, an Acton deep clean, or any related cleaning appointment. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
6. Waste Regulations and Disposal
Where the service includes removal of waste, rubbish, or contaminated materials, all handling and disposal will be carried out in accordance with applicable UK waste laws and local requirements. We will not remove hazardous waste, clinical waste, asbestos, chemicals, or other regulated materials unless this has been specifically agreed in writing and can be lawfully managed by the appropriate authorised route.
You must notify us in advance if there is any waste that may require special handling, segregation, or licensed disposal. If such waste is discovered during the visit and was not disclosed beforehand, we may suspend the relevant part of the service, charge an additional fee, or decline to remove the material. We reserve the right to leave restricted waste on site if lawful removal cannot be arranged safely and properly.
Any waste removed from the property becomes subject to our disposal arrangements once collected, provided that the material is lawful for us to handle and the agreed service has been paid for. You must not place prohibited items in bags or containers intended for ordinary cleaning waste. If we incur additional costs due to incorrect disposal information or unsafe storage, those costs may be charged to you.
7. Property Conditions, Damage, and Complaints
You should ensure the property is in a safe condition for cleaning work. This includes notifying us of broken fixtures, unstable flooring, exposed wiring, pest infestations, water leaks, or any other hazard. We may refuse to proceed in unsafe conditions or may restrict work to areas that can be accessed responsibly. If a service is interrupted for safety reasons, the fee may still be due for the work already completed.
If you believe any part of the service was not carried out as agreed, you must notify us within a reasonable time and allow us the opportunity to review and, where appropriate, rectify the issue. Any complaint should include sufficient detail to identify the concern. We will assess the matter fairly and may offer a revisit, partial refund, or other remedy where appropriate and where legally required.
Claims for damage must be raised as soon as reasonably possible and, in any event, within a reasonable period after the service. You must provide evidence of the alleged damage and allow us the opportunity to inspect the area. We are not responsible for claims made long after the appointment where the condition of the property may have changed for reasons unrelated to our work.
8. Service Standards and Exclusions
Our aim is to deliver a thorough professional clean, but the exact result will depend on the original condition of the property, the time booked, and the materials involved. Deep cleaning can improve hygiene, appearance, and cleanliness, but it does not guarantee restoration to a new or pristine condition. Some stains, odours, limescale, ingrained grease, or damage may be permanent or only partially removable.
Unless specifically included in the booking, our service does not cover repairs, restoration, painting, removals, pest treatment, or specialist sanitation requiring licensed contractors. It also does not include moving excessively heavy furniture, dismantling fixed installations, or handling dangerous materials. If any exclusion affects the service, we will explain it where reasonably possible before or during the visit.
We may use professional products and equipment appropriate for the task. If you require us to avoid certain products due to allergies, sensitivities, or surface compatibility, you must tell us before the appointment. While we will try to accommodate reasonable requests, we cannot guarantee the effectiveness of alternative products in every situation.
9. Governing Law and General Provisions
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the service, these terms, or any related booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force to the extent permitted by law. No failure or delay by us in exercising any right or remedy shall operate as a waiver of that right or remedy. Any waiver must be agreed in writing to be effective.
These terms, together with the booking confirmation and any written variations agreed by both parties, form the entire agreement between you and us for the relevant service. They replace any previous understanding, statement, or discussion relating to the same booking. By proceeding with a booking for deep cleaning services in Acton, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
